Installing Upgrades

When you install upgrades for version-managed applications, you must:

  1. Upload the new application file(s) to the BSS.
  2. Update the .rsp and .rsq files with new entries and/or installation parameters (if applicable).
  3. Update the .rsp and .rsq file timestamp (including any referenced .rsp and .rsq files). If just the .rsq changed you still must update the .rsp timestamp.

The next time a user clicks the application shortcut, the new files will be downloaded from the BLOB.
